Red River Riders Therapeutic Horseback Riding for the Disabled, Inc.

Welcome to 2018,
Enjoying winter so far? The horses are fuzzy & doing well. I’m really cold, though & not enjoying that.
THIS IS IT – the newsletter announcing the 2018 class schedules. Now is the time
to call to reserve your spot in the riding schedule. Call or text 715-853-6449, or email
firstname.lastname@example.org. (New email for me this year, too.)
We are looking forward to some exciting changes this year.
You may already know that Jennifer has been hired as our Herd Manager. She’s
taking over horse care, barn maintenance, keeping the yards clean, & many
miscellaneous jobs for me. She has been exercising and training all the horses, a few
every week. They are getting more grooming and extra attention than I haven’t been
able to give & they are pretty happy. Plus, Jennifer will be living on the farm full
time, so she can be available whenever needed. We are very lucky to have her; she’s
doing an amazing job.
2018 is bringing us a wonderful addition to the indoor arena. Keller Builders is
currently building a lounge/viewing area/meeting room, an office storage area, a tack
room, a horse grooming/saddling area, and equipment storage area on the east side of
the arena. It’s coming along well & they hope to be done by the end of the month.
Next, a new volunteer from 2017, Lawrence Winiarski, has agreed to tackle the job
of Volunteer Coordinator. He has retired twice, but was looking for some extra
activities to keep him busy. Lawrence did a great job volunteering in classes last year,
and now looks forward to volunteering as Volunteer Coordinator, too. He will be
calling and emailing current volunteers to introduce himself & find out if you will be
able to volunteer this year. He really enjoys meeting people & is anxious to meet all
our volunteers. Please contact him by email first – email@example.com. If you
don’t hear from him soon you can call 414-350-2267. Lawrence doesn’t have a smart
phone, so he’d rather hear from you by email or talk to you by phone, please. If you
still haven’t received a reply you can still text or call me at 715-853-6449, or email –
